Downtown Halloween

Last night we did trick-or-treated downtown with all the cousins. That's five kids ages 2-7. Four adults though, so we kept them corralled pretty well. Brody absolutely loved it! He pretty much enjoys any activity that lets him hang out with his cousins. He knew to say "trick-or-treat" and made sure to thank everyone. He did run away from us a couple of times, but that is why Mike was there, my waddling couldn't chase him very well. We came home with a 3 year old on a major sugar high and had the worst time getting him into bed. He was finally asleep around 10:30. He woke up at 5:30 this morning, which is unheard of for him. Normally, he sleeps in like a tiny little teenager. I had to stay with him until he was asleep again around 6:30. I think all the sugar gave him a bad dream or something, he seemed a little freaked out. I had a hard time going back to sleep and of course, once I was deep in REM mode, the little stinker was up again for the day! If only I could go buy a huge coffee or something.
